DescriptionHand coiled and scraped bowl; flat, circular base, very slightly rounded wall constricting to wide mouth and rolled rim; restricted vessel; slipped; burnished; incised and carved; red ground with light and dark tan painted decorations; design consists of wide band around wall made up of four deeply incised or carved panels, all having same motif with stepped, curvilinear and triangular elements; band has upper and lower thin, incised borders.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
