DescriptionHand coiled and scraped seed jar; squashed globular shape, small, flat, circular base, wall rounded to mid-shoulder, gradually constricting to open rounded mouth; restricted vessel; slipped; stone burnished; red, and tan; sgraffito designs in three tiers, (1) wide band around equator has large stylized water creature with thunderbolt coming out of its mouth, thick zigzag element on its body and vertical row of six arrow points extending down its tail, with corn plants, geometric elements, clouds and stepped elements as filler; (2) and (3) are continuous bands of arches with stepped inner decoration and separated from next by short vertical bars.
