DescriptionHand coiled and scraped jar; flat, circular base, gently rounded wall, constricting to wide mouth and rolled rim; restricted vessel; slipped; burnished; incised; carved; blackware color from reduced oxygen firing; design consists of deeply carved Kokopelli figure flanked by abstract elongated elements, and on opposing wall is a large zig zag band, a plain band, and a band that has three carved curvilinear elements.
