DescriptionHand coiled, using paddle and anvil technique, with micaceous clay; rounded base and wall to mid-shoulder, gently constricting to short neck and everted rim; restricted vessel; slipped; buff ground with dark red painted decorations; red pigment is hematite; design consists of wide band of spirals, and tick marks on neck.
