DescriptionHand coiled and scraped vase; circular, flat base, tall wall, slightly rounded from base to wide mouth, and rolled rim; restricted vessel; slipped, burnished; tan ground with black and red painted decorations; design consists of same motif on opposing sides, each made up of two conjoined stylized bird tail feather motifs, one shorter with tail feathers curved toward base, and larger one extends from base almost to rim and has serrated central element and stippling near rim.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
